PFAS Analytic Tool: The USEPA recently published a comprehensive database of PFAS samples taken from water, air, soil, and more, across the US. The EPA and ECHO provide a useful resource page containing location-specific information related to PFAS manufacture, release, and occurrence in the environment as well as facilities potentially handling PFAS. By the end of 2023, this map will include UCMR 5 data of 29 different PFAS constituents. Learn More

IEPA Sampling Results: Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) recently completed its stateside sampling compilation to investigate the prevalence and occurrence of PFAS in finished drinking water at all community water systems (CWSs) in Illinois. Learn More

In 1974, James K. Michels, late founder, opened the doors of EEI in Elburn, Illinois with four employees. The business plan then, as it is now, was to provide civil engineering services to public and private sector clients in northern Illinois.
